Solitaire Flat Coated Retrievers came to fruition in
February of 2002. I am a registered nurse, but retired a
few year ago. I now devote my time to training and
showing my dogs, playing duplicate bridge and jewelry
making. Don, a CPA, is still actively involved as owner
and CEO of our Ford truck dealership in Kansas City,
Missouri. He likes boating and golf. We both enjoy art,
wine tasting, traveling with our dogs, and watching
college basketball. (Go Jayhawks!) I spend the majority
of my time in southern Nevada. Don commutes back and
forth.
Don and I have one daughter, married to an Air Force
pilot. They have blessed us with two delightful
grandchildren. They are animal lovers also, and are
owned by a Doberman named Jupiter, a Cairn Terrier
named McDuff, and two rabbits.
